Robertson Bell are leading the search for this 12-month fixed term Systems Accountant role for this large public sector organisation. As the Systems Accountant you will play a crucial position in working with the financial planning and analysis team to enhance the performance of systems and improve the reports created.

Role responsibilities will include:

• Lead the development of specific reporting projects to enhance management information across the business.
• Collaborate with the Financial Planning team to create an enhanced model for budgeting and reporting.
• Enhance the current cashflow reporting model and assist in producing a comprehensive reporting process.
• Transition off-system reports to system-based reports.
• Develop documentation for training and testing new reports, including user guides and test scripts.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data in reports and support the migration to a cloud-based reporting platform.

This is a full time 12-month fixed term Systems Accountant role to assist in three key projects across the finance department. The successful candidate will be required to work in the head office in central London.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a proven Systems Accountant.
• Have significant experience leading on systems related projects.
• Be comfortable working in a large and complex organisation.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Either be a qualified Accountant or class themselves as qualified by experience.
