A commercially focused finance role supporting a busy retail operation, where you’ll turn financial data into insight, challenge performance and help shape decisions.

We’re working with a well-established organisation looking for a Finance Business Partner to join its finance team, supporting its retail operation. You’ll work closely with senior operational leaders, providing the analysis, challenge and financial insight they need to plan effectively, understand performance and make confident decisions.

This is a role with real breadth. Alongside budgeting, forecasting and reporting, you’ll have the opportunity to improve financial processes, develop reporting and modelling, support strategic projects and influence how finance works with the wider organisation.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with senior managers, providing clear financial insight, challenge and advice to support decision-making.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activity across the retail operation.

• Analyse performance, trends and variances, turning complex data into clear recommendations.

• Develop financial models, reporting and performance measures to improve visibility and decision-making.

• Support strategic projects, assessing financial implications and helping teams understand the longer-term impact of their decisions.

• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems and ways of working.

What you’ll bring:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) with solid financial management experience.

• Strong experience across budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial modelling.

• Experience of business partnering with non-finance stakeholders and communicating financial information clearly.

• Strong analytical and commercial thinking, with the confidence to challenge, influence and make recommendations.

• A proactive approach to improving processes, reporting and the way finance supports the wider organisation.
