In this Finance Assistant role you will:

  • Responsibility for completing accounts receivable functions in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Perform credit control duties, when required, in the form of emails and over the phone, maintaining a pleasant and tactful form of communication between parents and other stakeholders.
  • Provide valuable support to the wider finance team by providing cover for accounts payable duties when necessary.
  • Aid in different projects to develop the accounts receivable processes and drive continued improvement in the finance team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least one year’s experience working in a Finance Assistant role, with a great understanding of bookkeeping, debits and credit.
  • Experience using an accounting system such as Sage 200, Agresso or similar and pick up new softwares easily.
  • Great communication skills, high emotional intelligence, a friendly and personable demeanour with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • A great work-ethic and the desire to learn and take on more responsibility as they progress and grow into their role.
