Finance Officer

Robertson Bell are recruiting for a Finance Officer on behalf of a well-established organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transactional finance professional to join a supportive finance team, taking ownership of billing, income processing and credit control activities within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage billing schedules and raise sales invoices accurately and on time
• Process recharge invoicing and administer direct debits
• Allocate and reconcile incoming payments, ensuring income is recorded correctly
• Support credit control and debt recovery activities, including resolving customer queries
• Maintain accurate debtor records and income information across finance systems
• Process routine journals and support cashflow forecasting activities
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure billing information remains accurate
• Contribute to process improvements and strengthen financial controls

The Successful Candidate:
• Experience within Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger, Billing or Finance Officer roles
• Strong background in billing, sales invoicing and income reconciliation
• Experience supporting credit control and debt recovery activities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good Excel skills and confidence using finance systems
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and resolve queries effectively
• AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT would be advantageous
