Finance Manager

Robertson Bell is working with a growing charity to recruit a Finance Manager.This is a pivotal finance position combining technical accounting expertise with strategic business partnering.

You'll manage the complete accounting function, statutory accounts, management accounts, month-end close, and year-end reporting. The role also acts as a trusted financial advisor to 20-25 budget holders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and oversee statutory and management accounts
• Lead auditor relationships and manage audit queries
• Conduct monthly budget reviews with stakeholders, explaining results and supporting KPI achievement
• Set budgets and provide ongoing financial guidance
• Guide and support the accounting team (3 people)
• Translate complex financial information for non-finance colleagues

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong business partnering experience
• Statutory accounts experience
• Be a Qualified accountant (or nearly qualified)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Technical accounting knowledge
