Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a new challenge within a successful not-for-profit organisation? Do you have a good understanding of service charge and how it can impact finance? Are you looking for a highly analytical role focused on improvements?

My client is a leading property provider based around the Kent area seeking an interim Service Charge Project Accountant on an 18-month fixed term contract, with a strong potential to go permanent.

The main duties of the interim Service Charge Project Accountant are:

  • Collaborate with business analysts and the service charge team to review existing service charge processes and identifying key areas of improvement.
  • Understand stakeholder needs and identify how service charges are calculated.
  • Ask analytical questions in order to map existing processes and identify to-be processes.
  • Take a global view of service charges and work towards the implementation of successful processes in an environment of systems change.

This is a fantastic opportunity to hit the ground running and have a huge impact on the successful delivery on the service charge function within an already successful team.

My client is looking for:

  • Previous experience of project tasks, including how to identify process issues and apply a project and an analytical mindset to create impactful systems change.
  • Strong knowledge of service charge within a private property, social housing or a local government environment.

My client can offer a flexible approach to working with one or two days in the office and a strong potential to go permanent if desired and progress within the organisation.

Applications are under constant review and the post can close early if the right candidate is found. Please apply immediately if this role is of interest.
