What you’ll do

• Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner across projects, costings and commercial activity
• Build and maintain robust financial models to support funding bids, curriculum planning and new initiatives
• Lead on costing programmes, apprenticeships and new activity, ensuring financial viability and compliance
• Partner closely with operational teams and MIS to challenge assumptions and improve decision-making
• Drive commercial performance, improving existing outlets and identifying new income opportunities
• Oversee the financial planning and control of major projects, including forecasting, grant claims, capital spend, procurement and project accounting
• Support management accounts, audits and fixed asset reporting, ensuring strong financial governance throughout

What you’ll need

• Proven experience producing management accounts
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting and cash flow management
• CIMA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• The ability to influence, challenge and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working across both finance and non-finance teams
