Take the lead in shaping financial insight and strengthening strategic decision-making on a global scale.

Join a purpose-driven sustainable development organisation working to tackle urgent environmental and social challenges worldwide. As Management Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring financial clarity, supporting operational teams across multiple countries, and enabling projects that connect local priorities with global issues.

This is your opportunity to make a measurable impact – delivering high-quality management information, improving financial models and processes, and helping drive forward a bold new long-term vision.

What you’ll gain:

  • Ownership and influence – take responsibility for monthly management reporting, financial modelling, KPIs, and key insights used by senior leaders.
  • Career development – work across international programmes, partner with global teams, and contribute to strategic planning and cost recovery refinement.
  • A culture of improvement – enhance systems, controls, and reporting processes while supporting innovation and organisational change.
  • Work–life balance – hybrid working with only occasional travel to the central London office (just a few days each month).
  • Purpose and impact – contribute to an organisation tackling systemic global challenges through collaboration, advocacy, and sustainable development.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts including variance analysis and clear, insightful commentary for senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to strengthen budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Support the improvement of the organisation’s cost recovery model to ensure indirect and overhead costs are fully recovered.
  • Partner with operational budget holders internationally to provide analysis, challenge assumptions, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Lead the development and tracking of financial performance metrics (KPIs).

What you’ll need:

  • A recognised professional accounting qualification (or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience).
  • Strong experience producing end-to-end monthly management accounts.
  • Experience in international charity accounting.
  • Skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and process improvement.
  • Confidence communicating complex financial information to non-financial colleagues at all levels.

About the organisation:

They are a leading sustainable development organisation focused on addressing environmental and social challenges around the world. With a newly launched long-term vision, they are driving innovation, collaboration, and advocacy to create lasting, systemic change – and finance plays a critical role in enabling that mission.
