Do you enjoy turning financial data into insight the business can actually use? Can you design dashboards and KPIs that help senior leaders make better decisions? Are you looking for a high-visibility role where your work will genuinely shape how finance supports an organisation?

A large, commercially operating Not for Profit organisation is seeking a Senior Financial Insight & Reporting Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a hybrid pattern, balancing home and work from an attractive and modern office, to strengthen its performance reporting and business insight capability during a period of change.

This is a hands-on role focused on improving how financial and operational performance is measured, reported and understood across the business. You’ll work closely with Finance Business Partners across all functions and directorates to design meaningful KPIs and deliver clear, decision-useful reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining financial dashboards and KPIs across key business areas.
  • Analysing business performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Working with Finance Business Partners to define appropriate performance measures and reporting frameworks.
  • Producing monthly and quarterly performance reports, with clear narrative and insight.
  • Presenting findings to senior management in a clear and accessible way.
  • Supporting the implementation of new reporting processes, standards and policies.
  • Contributing to wider finance transformation and improvement initiatives.

This is a highly visible role offering exposure to the full breadth of the organisation’s finance operations. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how performance is reported and understood, influence senior decision-making, and leave a lasting improvement in reporting capability. For someone who enjoys combining technical finance, data and stakeholder engagement, this is a genuinely impactful assignment.

To be considered, please meet these criteria:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Hold post-qualification experience in a performance-focused role.
  • Strong technical finance skills, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting and KPI development.
  • Excellent data analysis and visualisation capability, ideally with experience using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a track record of improving processes and reporting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Interviews will be held on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.
