Do you want to work in a highly analytical role in Finance that will exercise and improve your strong Excel skills? Do you want to work in a large, highly successful organisation dealing with business plans worth billions of pounds? Do you want to play an integral role in an exciting FP&A team making highly influential business recommendations?

My client is a national organisation that has a complex group structure with wide variety of business avenues and is known as a leader in its sector. The role of the FP&A Analyst will support the Group Financial Planning function in several ways:

  • Conduct high level financial analysis and scenario modelling to support the delivery of the Group’s financial plan
  • Interpret complex data to provide financial information on multi-million-pound spends across the entire organisation
  • Provide accurate financial data to determine the Group’s liquidity position, and performing financial modelling to create information giving confidence to lenders
  • Run ad hoc analysis to support decision making in all areas of the organisation
  • Business Partner with Director level staff on projects, being able to explain financial output and challenge assumptions.

This is a truly exceptional opportunity to join an incredibly high performing, well respected organisation in a team known for its elite level use of Excel. The culture is vibrant, and you will be surrounded with colleagues who are leaders in their fields, making this a great chance to learn and develop as an FP&A Analyst.

This is an employer who, even before the pandemic, was well known for its flexible working policies, and having performed very well during the lockdown, are making the decision to offer increased flexibility post-lockdown. Endless career development opportunities along with an impressive benefits package makes the offering particularly appealing.

To be considered, your CV will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Advanced Excel skills – you should be familiar with most formulae and functions and be able to manipulate very large datasets into comprehensible information. Experience with VBA would be strongly beneficial
  • Strong business partnering skills including first class written and verbal communication skills
  • Be an active studier of a recognised accountancy qualification and a professional background in Analytical roles in finance.
