Robertson Bell is supporting a leading University to recruit an interim FP&A Lead to undertake a set of key projects relating to the organisation cost base.
This is expected to be a six-month contract, which can be delivered fully remotely (within the UK) although there is preference that the successful candidate would be able to attend the office on occasion.
The key deliverables are:
- Modelling data pertaining to non-staff costs, with the aim of identifying future opportunities for savings.
- Undertaking analysis of course delivery costs to drive budgeting and decision-making.
- Smaller projects, built upon scenario modelling, to assess the viability of certain ventures and revenue streams.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an advanced Excel user with demonstrable experience in financial modelling, in particular cost and scenario modelling.
- Have a sound understanding of the Higher Education sector, ideally with previous experience in a similar role.
- Take a proactive approach to work, be inquisitive and meet deadlines consistently.
