Essex | Very remote working - 2 days per month | Up to £50,000

What you’ll do

• Lead and manage a small finance team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all property-related finance activities
• Oversee processes including invoicing, income, service charges, utilities, rates, journals, master data, and reporting across a broad property portfolio
• Drive continuous improvement, embedding process efficiencies and strengthening controls
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining effective working relationships
• Manage team capacity, capability, and external service partners to meet current and future demands
• Identify and manage risks, support projects, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery

What you’ll need

• AAT Level 4 or studying towards a relevant accounting qualification
• Strong accounting skills, including double-entry bookkeeping, journals, and data analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and the ability to work confidently with large datasets
• Experience managing and developing a small team, including conducting appraisals and 1:1s
• Experience with stakeholders, building relationships and providing reassurance where needed
• Previous experience in property finance is desirable but not essential
