Senior Finance Business Partner

This ever-evolving organisation is partnering with Robertson Bell in their search for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their term on a permanent basis in this newly created role. Reporting into Finance Director, this role will be the key financial expert of a portfolio of the organisation’s key contracts and cost centres, ad through the provision of sound financial advise and guidance, you will enable them to make more well-informed business decisions and therefore help them to deliver on their ambitious targets.

The key duties of this Senior Finance Business Partner are as follows:

• Collaborate with your portfolio Directors to scrutinise the financial performance of the directorate, offering insights for operational and strategic decisions.
• Track financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actions.
• Present financial performance reports and lead monthly review meetings with operational teams to address issues and plan actions.
• Assist the Director in preparing for monthly performance meetings with senior leadership, highlighting key financial issues and making financial recommendations that ensure value for money.
• Develop and maintain sustainable pricing models for all divisional contracts.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring key changes are reflected and risks are communicated.

• Achieved their full accountancy qualification, or be in the final stages.

• Demonstrable experience in finance business partnering and stakeholder management. 
• A strong desire to learn and develop on the job, and someone looking to move from practice is welcomed.
