My client is an international charity who are seeking a Grants and Contracts Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This brand-new role will focus on the acquisition of new funding for the charity from grants and contracts issued by the Government and large institutions. The successful candidate will lead a team in successfully reviewing and bidding for new funding for specific projects.

The main responsibilities of the Grants and Contacts Finance Manager include:

  • Identify potential funding opportunities and created detailed complex budgets to assess the financial viability of new funding options.
  • Prepare and write bids for grants and contracts offered by both public sector organisations and large institutions.
  • Lead negotiations on pipeline funding opportunities, liaise with a wide range of external stakeholders and advisory boards.
  • Present evaluations of new potential funds to the senior leadership team.
  • Motivate and lead a team of two Grants Officers, providing effective training to ensure the team reach their full potential and drive efficiencies.

  • At least part qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experienced in writing bids for, and managing, high value public sector grants.
  • Ideally have experience in managing a team.
