Are you an experience Finance Systems Project leader looking to take on a pivotal role in the transformation of a large commercially minded organisation? Do you have strong project management skills combined with a strong understanding of the inner workings of finance? Can you see the bigger picture of large projects, supporting and challenging senior leaders?

My client is a giant in its sector going through a period of business wide change. The role available is for a Finance Systems Change Project Lead on a two year fixed term contract to:

  • Work collaboratively with other programme leads to create a cohesive unit tailored to furthering the capacity of a rapidly growing organisation
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, primarily in the finance department, to ascertain the need for change in Finance
  • Process mapping “as is” and “to be” processes, identifying and setting KPIs to work towards with a new finance system
  • Provide insight and expertise to support recommendations for change, reshaping processes and identifying technology driven solutions
  • Take a bird’s eye view of the change programme and take full responsibility for the success of finance system change.

As an organisation with a hard working, commercial culture, standards have remained high during the pandemic even while working remotely. It is anticipated that this role can be done primarily from home with one to two days in the office in London each week as a maximum.

To be considered, you should meet these criteria:

  • Have strong experience as a leader of change in finance systems, with a proven history of liaising with the most senior stakeholders in large, complex organisations
  • Have a demonstrable history of success leading finance system change programmes
  • Ideally have a project management qualification (PRINCE2 or similar).
