Robertson Bell is excited to be working with a leading organisation in the care and support sector to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to be a key figure in the finance division, with responsibility for critical month-end reporting, producing and reviewing accounts, and working closely with department heads to drive financial performance.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee month-end reporting and ensure the accuracy of financial reports, including insightful commentaries.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, focusing on rental income, property maintenance, and debt management.
- Conduct regular meetings with department heads to review financial performance and address varying levels of financial literacy.
- Support teams with invoicing queries and collaborate closely with the Executive Director and Director on financial matters.
- Prepare financial reports for quarterly board meetings and coordinate with auditors to ensure smooth year-end reconciliations.

The Ideal Candidate will:
- Be a fully qualified Accountant or finalist with strong management accounting knowledge.
- Have experience in the care and support sector or come from audit, practice, or not-for-profit backgrounds. Public sector experience is not required.
- Possess advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and functions like SumIfs, VLOOKUPs, and Index Matching, with the ability to present financial data effectively.
- Have experience in management accounting or finance business partnering; year-end accounting experience is a plus but not essential.
- Be an effective communicator who can adapt to different business needs and understand the care and support sector’s nuances, whether you have extensive experience or are an emerging professional.
