Robertson Bell is pleased to once again be partnering with this charity based in Central London to recruit a French speaking, International Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. This fantastic role will see the successful candidate provide robust financial management support to its finance and non-finance staff within their given portfolio of countries within Africa they will be partnering with.

The main responsibilities of the International Finance Business Partner include:

  • Review the financial performance of country programmes within your given portfolio, undergoing detailed analysis on the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statements, providing variance analysis commentary.
  • Business partner with Director-level stakeholders, focusing on building financial capacity, and training junior operational staff on financial best practices.
  • Influence key programme managers to ensure alignment with the organisational strategy is maintained and financial sustainability is prioritised.
  • Full responsibility for preparing project-specific reports for donors and review of grant spend.
  • Support the Programmes Team in the development of proposals for new projects, ensuring that all overheads have been accounted for.
  • Understand the local statutory reporting requirements in your given regions and ensure all financial reporting is compliant.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • At least part qualified in either ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experienced in producing and analysing management accounts.
  • Able to build strong working relationships and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
