Robertson Bell is partnering with a not for profit organisation who is seeking an experienced Temporary Finance Manager to join their small team on a part-time basis.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the full finance function, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Maintaining the accounting system (Sage) and ensuring accurate and timely financial records
- Preparing quarterly financial reports for the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees
- Providing financial advice and support to the Director and senior management team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified accountant status (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with experience in the charity/not-for-profit sector
- Strong technical finance skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with senior stakeholders
- Confidence to challenge and push back when necessary
- Flexibility to work 2-3 days per week, with some in-person attendance required
