Robertson Bell is partnering with a not for profit organisation who is seeking an experienced Temporary Finance Manager to join their small team on a part-time basis.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the full finance function, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Maintaining the accounting system (Sage) and ensuring accurate and timely financial records
  • Preparing quarterly financial reports for the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees
  • Providing financial advice and support to the Director and senior management team

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified accountant status (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with experience in the charity/not-for-profit sector
  • Strong technical finance skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with senior stakeholders
  • Confidence to challenge and push back when necessary
  • Flexibility to work 2-3 days per week, with some in-person attendance required
