Robertson Bell are proud to once again be working with this well-known housing association in their search for a Financial Planning Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. Based in South London, this newly revamped role will play a crucial part in the development and maintenance of the organisation’s long term strategic plan through, financial analysis, forecasting and modelling.

The key duties of this Financial Planning Analyst role are as follows:

  • Play a leading role in the development and maintenance of the long-term financial plan, taking full responsibility for the preparation of several critical sections.
  • Full responsibility for producing medium-term cashflow forecasts and subsequent variance analysis between budget and the preceding forecast.
  • Conduct regular stress-testing and analysis on the financial plan and provide invaluable support in the review of key assumptions.
  • Liaise with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation to understand their future planning intentions for incorporation into BRIXX.
  • Take the lead in the production of quarterly forecast returns for the organisation’s main regulator and relevant credit rating agencies.
  • Review financial appraisals for new development schemes as required, ensuring all risks have been accounted for and schemes complement the financial plans.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A background working in social housing, construction, infrastructure or other relevant sectors.
  • Ideally, experience using BRIXX.
  • Experience working with and extracting conclusions from large sets of data in Excel.
  • Demonstrable experience of preparing long-term budgets and financial plans.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
