Robertson Bell are pleased to be working with this inspirational charity whilst they recruit for a permanent Finance Manager. Reporting into a highly respected and driven Finance Director you will provide oversight to the finance function and lead on the production of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering for the charity.

The key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead on the management accounts process including the posting of journals, accruals and prepayments and variance analysis.
  • Liaise with non-finance members of staff to ensure they understand their budgets and can run their departments whilst maintaining tight budgetary control.
  • Assist with the production of annual statutory accounts and reports for the group and its subsidiary companies.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with the bank and oversee transfers ensuring mandates are correct and kept up to date.
  • Review complex reconciliations carried out by the team.
  • Work closely with the Finance Director on revisions of budgets and forecasts.
  • Carry out ad hoc analysis.
  • Provide cover for the Finance Director when necessary.

This full time Finance Manager role will offer an excellent opportunity for career progression and will best suit candidates with strong experience in management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting. This position will officially be based from the organisations head office in south-west London however extremely flexible home working is on offer.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Either a full CCAB finance qualification or will be at finalist level.
  • Proven experience within a management accounts focused role.
  • Over three years’ experience in a varied finance role.
  • Some management or supervisory experience (however this is more desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong Excel and systems skills.
