Can you turn financial insight into long-term business change? Do you know how to work with senior stakeholders to fix systemic issues? Want to take on a high-profile role that will shape the future of service charge recovery in a large Housing Association?

This large Hampshire-based Housing Association is undertaking a major project to rectify historic under-recovery of service charges. As part of this long-term programme, they’re recruiting a Finance Business Partner – Service Charge Project to take the lead on shaping and embedding the processes that will prevent similar issues in future.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Taking insight already gathered by technical specialists and translating it into workable financial process improvements
  • Acting as a strategic Finance Business Partner to key stakeholders across Property, Finance, Operations and Service Charge teams
  • Developing a blueprint for updated workflows and improved data capture around service charges
  • Leading conversations that will improve accountability, prioritisation, and visibility of service charge financial health
  • Helping the organisation shift from a reactive to a proactive, insight-led approach

You’ll be joining a programme of genuine importance and will act as the key finance representative driving future-state design for a critical business area.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to work on a long-term transformation project with clearly defined outputs and the buy-in of senior leadership.

To be considered, please meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering within the Social Housing sector
  • Familiarity with Service Charge legislation or exposure to service charge projects is desirable — but not essential
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing at senior levels across departments
  • Able to approach problems with a structured, solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable operating within a project-focused environment over a longer fixed-term contract

This is a 12–18 month fixed-term contract, with two days per week required in the Hampshire office.

If you're ready to apply your strategic finance skills to a sector-critical challenge, apply today for immediate consideration.
