We’re partnering with a respected and community-minded not-for-profit housing provider in Kent to find an Accounts Payable Officer to join their supportive finance team. Collaborating with colleagues across finance to ensure timely and accurate monthly bank reconciliations
Processing payments using the most efficient methods available, including BACS, and identifying alternatives where needed
Posting and allocating direct debits and completions in line with agreed deadlines each month
Supporting the shift toward a more digital and streamlined accounts payable function
Maintaining up-to-date records of financial obligations to ensure strong cash flow oversight

A confident communicator who can work effectively with both internal teams and external partners
Prior experience in an accounts payable or finance support role, with strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable picking up new systems
Ideally studying towards an accounting qualification or bringing comparable practical experience
