We’re working with a prominent organisation undergoing significant change to recruit a Financial Analyst on a two-year fixed-term contract. This role will provide valuable financial support to a service-led directorate, delivering insightful analysis and modelling to inform budgeting, forecasting, and client reporting as part of a wider transformation.

In this role, you will:

  • Build strong relationships across commercial, transformation, and senior leadership teams to influence key decisions.
  • Act as a Financial Analyst, supporting a service-led directorate with budgeting, forecasting, and financial insight.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to monitor budgets, challenge forecasts, and assess programme costs.
  • Lead client meetings, presenting risks and opportunities in a clear and engaging way to non-finance specialists.
  • Own the month-end process and deliver high-quality reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.

This position is based in Glasgow and offers hybrid working, requiring you to go into the office three days per week. You will also benefit from an employer pension contribution of c.£14,000 pa., a generous annual leave allowance and unparallelled wellbeing benefits.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Ideally be fully qualified however, finalist Accountants with a strong grasp of core accounting principles will be considered.
  • Possess strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate excellent Excel skills and be confident building and adapting models to support decision-making.
  • Have solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, with the ability to interpret numbers and tell a clear financial story.
  • Be proactive, commercially aware, and capable of working independently in a complex, fast-paced environment.
