Service Charge Systems Specialist | £40,000 – £50,000 | 12-Month FTC | North West London | Hybrid (2 days in office)

Join one of the UK’s most respected social housing providers in a pivotal systems-focused role supporting service charge transformation. Based in North West London, this organisation is known for its forward-thinking, community-focused approach and is driving ambitious improvements in cost recovery and data integration across their housing services.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a blend of high-impact project work, system stewardship, and data expertise — ideal for someone looking to make a real difference in a short space of time.

The Role

  • Act as the gatekeeper of the service charge model — running reports, managing asset data, and owning the framework that underpins cost accuracy

  • Support the service charge estimates and final accounts process, leading on model testing and regular dry runs to assess impact

  • Collaborate closely with IT and external consultants to streamline reporting, improve data quality, and strengthen system capabilities

  • Deliver high-quality analysis and ad hoc reporting to drive better management insight on costs and recovery across the board

Why work here?

This is a major social housing provider with a national reputation for doing things differently — investing in people, technology, and smarter ways of working. You'll join a warm, collaborative team, benefit from hybrid working, and play a central role in improving services that impact thousands of residents.

The Person

  • A systems-savvy finance professional with experience managing or implementing housing management software such as Northgate, Orchard, or similar

  • Proven track record of systems integration and working with high-volume financial data (10k+ transactions), ideally linked to service charge or property data

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong commercial acumen — comfortable running models, manipulating data, and spotting trends

  • Background in social housing, local government, or commercial property — with experience working on service charge models, integration projects or final accounts
