Robertson Bell are supporting a well-regarded charity to recruit an Interim Finance Analyst to support the Fundraising Team, with a specific focus on Individual Giving. This is a pivotal three-month contract, ideal for a sector-experienced finance professional who can hit the ground running and provide analytical and financial management support across fundraising income streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic finance partner to the Individual Giving team, supporting senior stakeholders with timely and insightful financial analysis.
- Lead on budgeting and forecasting for Individual Giving campaigns, ensuring alignment with income targets and organisational goals.
- Produce robust monthly management reports, offering commentary and recommendations to drive performance.
- Track fundraising income and expenditure, ensuring accurate coding, monitoring ROI and evaluating cost-effectiveness of campaigns.
- Support year-end processes and provide ad hoc analysis as required by the Head of Fundraising Finance.
The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised CCAB qualification (or qualified by experience) with a strong background in financial analysis and business partnering.
- Charity sector experience, specifically in fundraising finance, with a solid understanding of Individual Giving and its financial drivers.
- Proven ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with the confidence to challenge and influence.
