Do you thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment where your financial insight drives strategic growth? Do you have experience supporting fundraising teams with financial planning, analysis and forecasting? Are you ready to work closely with senior leaders to shape the future of one of the UK’s most recognised charities in their field? If yes, this could be your next role!

An impactful charity is looking for a Finance Business Partnerto support the fundraising and campaigns team, playing a central role in ensuring this vital directorate has the insight and strategic finance support it needs to grow income and deliver change.

The key duties of this Finance Business Partner will be:

  • Acting as the strategic finance lead for all fundraising activity, with a focus on public fundraising, individual giving, legacies and events.
  • Partnering with fundraising leaders to deliver insightful forecasting, planning and performance analysis that drives income and impact.
  • Supporting budget holders in developing and refining forecasts and budgets, ensuring these are robust, well-documented and aligned with organisational goals.
  • Preparing clear, actionable financial analysis and commentary to support decision-making and campaign planning.
  • Leading the review of campaign performance, developing financial models, assessing ROI, and identifying opportunities for reinvestment.
  • Supporting funder reporting and financial submissions, ensuring accuracy, transparency and compliance.
  • Championing continuous improvement and effective financial management across fundraising and charitable activity.

This is a unique opportunity to join a much-loved charity at a pivotal moment in its evolution. Following a successful period of innovation in fundraising and campaigning, there is huge appetite across the team for strong financial leadership and strategic support. With a wide range of fundraising activity in motion, including a major new campaign launching later this year, you’ll be right at the heart of ambitious, values-led work that changes lives.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Experienced in fundraising finance, particularly regular giving, with a solid understanding of income types such as legacies, subscriptions, and donations.
  • Comfortable working closely with budget holders and senior stakeholders, offering proactive advice and strategic challenge.
  • Skilled in forecasting and budgeting, with a track record of building robust financial plans and writing insightful commentary.
  • Highly analytical, detail-conscious and accountable for the accuracy of monthly reporting.
  • A strong communicator who can explain complex financial matters clearly to non-finance colleagues.

This charity is based in East London and operates a hybrid model. While there is flexibility, the ideal candidate will be in the office around two days a week to build close working relationships with key stakeholders.

If you’re looking to work in a dynamic, values-driven environment where your financial expertise will shape strategy and drive growth, we’d love to hear from you.
