Interim Finance Business Partner

My client, a large, customer-focused organisation in Hampshire, is seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role will support a high-profile business area with a budget in excess of £200 million and will play a key role in enabling better decision making through financial insight, stakeholder challenge and commercial thinking.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced directorate to provide robust decision support
• Analysing and interpreting monthly financial reports to influence operational and strategic planning
• Applying a commercial mindset to identify efficiencies, challenge assumptions, and recommend improvements
• Maintaining regular, value-adding communication with non-finance stakeholders
• Supporting the development of business cases and tracking of financial performance against objectives

The role is hybrid with two days per week in the Hampshire office, and would suit someone who enjoys operating at pace and influencing through partnership.

To be considered, please meet the following criteria:

• Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Finalists with final exams booked may also be considered
• Experience in a business partnering or decision support role within a large, complex organisation
• Proven ability to interpret financial data and deliver clear, actionable insight
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
