What you’ll do

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting for development projects

  • Provide clear, insightful analysis to support investment decisions and project viability

  • Manage cost tracking, financial controls, cashflows, and reconciliations

  • Support appraisal updates, long-term modelling, and risk analysis

  • Partner with project directors, development leads, and senior non-finance stakeholders

  • Present financial updates and recommendations at project boards and leadership meetings

  • Review and strengthen reporting processes, identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Act as a key finance contact for internal teams and wider organisational functions

  • Contribute to wider finance transformation and system improvement initiatives

What you’ll need

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

  • Strong experience in development finance, capital projects, housing, property, or construction

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and support

  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical capability

  • Ability to work in a changing environment and manage competing priorities

  • Hands-on approach with high attention to detail and a commercial mindset

  • Clear communication skills, especially when translating financial information for non-finance colleagues
