What you’ll do:

  • Lead the financial control function, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Design, maintain, and continuously improve financial systems and processes that mitigate key financial and operational risks.
  • Manage the team responsible for financial regulations, reporting integrity, and system controls.
  • Partner with senior leaders across finance, audit, and risk to strengthen governance and accountability.
  • Oversee legacy system management and play a key role in transitioning to a new finance ERP system.
  • Champion process optimisation and automation to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.

What you’ll need:

  • A recognised professional accounting qualification.
  • Proven expertise in financial controls, risk management, and compliance within complex organisations.
  • Strong leadership skills – able to motivate, develop, and guide a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, translating technical financial concepts for non-financial audiences.
  • A proactive mindset with a track record of driving change, improvement, and collaboration across teams.
