Finance Business Partner
London, hybrid 2 days per week (full-time during probation), up to £58,000 plus benefits

Join a busy and dynamic finance team at a growing not-for-profit subsidiary. This role offers the chance to work closely with operational colleagues, influence decision-making, and take ownership of financial processes across a range of services.

What you’ll do

  • Own the preparation of monthly management accounts, delivering accurate profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting across multiple income-generating and departmental cost centres
  • Partner with the management team to drive budgeting, forecasting, and insightful variance analysis that informs strategic decisions
  • Take full accountability for invoicing and income collection for care and support contracts, ensuring seamless reconciliation of complex local authority uplifts
  • Collaborate with cost centre managers to ensure precise recording of activity, hours, and costs, maintaining high-quality financial data
  • Play a key role in contract negotiations and pricing discussions with local authorities, influencing outcomes with clear financial insight
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and financial performance
  • Support year-end statutory accounts and audit processes, ensuring compliance and smooth delivery

What you’ll need

  • To be a qualified Accountant, finalist, or actively studying towards professional qualification
  • Management accounting experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with non-finance colleagues
  • Strong Excel skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A dynamic, up-and-coming professional keen to develop their career in finance
