What you’ll do:
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with departmental leads.
- Manage accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with auditors as required.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
- Support and advise budget holders on management accounts review and analysis.
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions to monitor performance, impact, and strategic priorities.
- Extract, clean, and analyse data from multiple systems, translating insights into clear recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and user experience.
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, SAP, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, able to present complex financial and data insights clearly.
- Relationship-building skills, working collaboratively across teams and stakeholders.
