What you’ll do:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with departmental leads.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
  • Support and advise budget holders on management accounts review and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions to monitor performance, impact, and strategic priorities.
  • Extract, clean, and analyse data from multiple systems, translating insights into clear recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and user experience.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, SAP, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, able to present complex financial and data insights clearly.
  • Relationship-building skills, working collaboratively across teams and stakeholders.
