Join a dynamic organisation at a pivotal time in its evolution. As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a crucial role supporting both commercial and charitable operations - driving performance, enhancing financial literacy, and helping senior leaders make confident, informed decisions.

With digital transformation underway and a new Executive team championing improvement, this is an exciting opportunity to bring structure, clarity, and calm to a fast-moving finance environment.

What you’ll gain:

Influence and visibility – work closely with the senior leadership team, and over 20 budget holders, providing trusted financial insight that shapes strategy and delivery.

Development and ownership – take responsibility for management reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple departments.

Impact and improvement – help embed better processes, enhance accountability, and improve financial understanding across the organisation.

Flexibility and balance – hybrid working (two days per week in the office) and a supportive, collaborative finance team.

Attractive benefits – £65k-£70k salary, 28 days annual leave plus your birthday, up to 10% employer pension contribution, Bupa, gym membership, and much more!

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with operational and senior leaders to understand business performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver monthly management accounts, insightful commentary, and variance analysis for commercial and charitable entities.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring realistic, data-driven financial plans.
  • Enhance financial literacy by coaching and training budget holders — many of whom are new to financial management.
  • Review and approve journals, ensuring data integrity and consistency across the accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with the Financial Accounting and Shared Services teams to improve processes and reporting accuracy.
  • Contribute to the wider finance transformation, supporting the move to new and improved reporting systems.
  • Support the upcoming audit cycle and contribute to stabilising financial performance after recent overspend.
  • Coach and mentor two Management Accountants, creating opportunities for learning and career progression.

What you’ll need:

  • A qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in management accounting or business partnering, ideally within a complex or multi-entity environment.
  • Strong technical ability and attention to detail, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
  • A coaching and collaborative approach – able to be hands on, teach and guide others through change.
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm, proactive attitude during transformation.
  • Desirable: An understanding of commercial and charitable finance.
