Robertson Bell are partnering with a well-known organisation in Central London as they recruit an Interim Income and Processing Manager for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced team manager who is confident working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and happy to roll up their sleeves.

This role will initially focus on overseeing income processing activity, supporting a period of transition within the team. You will manage two direct reports and work closely with colleagues to ensure all income is accurately coded and reconciled within the finance system.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day income processing function, ensuring all income received across multiple sources is accurately recorded.
  • Managing a team of two, providing guidance, task allocation and hands-on support where required.
  • Working through large manual data imports from banking systems and ensuring correct coding in the finance system.
  • Investigating discrepancies, reconciling transactions and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Supporting card payment and reader reconciliations, ensuring all income streams are captured correctly.
  • Collaborating with the wider income team to maintain accuracy and strong internal controls.
  • Potentially covering additional income duties if another team member becomes unavailable.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be available to start immediately or at very short notice.
  • Bring strong experience in income processing, reconciliations or high-volume transactional finance.
  • Have proven team management or supervisory experience.
  • Be a proactive self-starter with strong initiative and the confidence to work independently.
  • Be comfortable managing manual processes and investigative workload.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to hit the ground running quickly.
  • Be adaptable and comfortable supporting a team through a period of change.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with regular attendance at the Central London office each week. You’ll be joining a collaborative team working through an important transitional period, with opportunities to contribute to future process improvements.

If you’re an experienced manager who thrives in hands-on, fast-paced environments, we’d love to hear from you.
