In this Senior Finance Business Partner role, you will:
- Manage two Management Accountants who have a strong technical background, guiding them through recent organisational changes.
- Take responsibility for large, flexible departments focused on fundraising activities, including exhibitions and events, managing budgets for large teams.
- Oversee and provide financial guidance on complex research projects, collaborating with senior management and possibly sitting on the research board.
- Lead quarterly budget vs. spend meetings with department heads, offering support as needed.
- Prepare quarterly management accounts, consolidating contributions from your team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Play a key role in annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting, providing hands-on support to budget holders when necessary.
- Prepare and manage financial accounts for an entire subsidiary, focusing on year-end processes, including journals, adjustments, and deferred income considerations.
