Are you looking for a role within an organisation known for its flexibility, its positive social impact, and its strong reputation as an employer? Are you excited by engaging in varied audit projects that will apply and strengthen your experience? Are you looking for a rewarding role within internal audit, in a close-knit team and under a supportive leadership team? Then check out this opportunity as an Internal Auditor!

Joining a thriving not-for-profit organisation with a presence across the South East (and highly flexible working arrangements), the role of the Internal Auditor will report to the Audit Manager and will feature the following key responsibilities:

  • Delivering risk-based audits across a range of services and departments, including the organisation’s commercial arm, residents, safety and maintenance, and technology.
  • Work in a small team, taking on various audit projects throughout the year, leading on running the audit and delivering to a high standard
  • Writing high level reports, with a focus on providing clear and influential information allowing senior management to move forward strategically
  • Lead the full audit cycle under supervision from the leadership team, producing detailed reports at every stage, thereby contributing to the organisation’s wider Audit Plan.

Following an impressive period of growth and change, this role joins the organisation at an exciting time. Post-Covid, the attitude towards remote working is more relaxed and the organisation applies a modern approach - you can expect to average just two visits to the office per month and the rest of the time work from home.

The role would suit candidates who are experienced hands on auditors looking for a stable role, as well as those seeking the chance to gain valuable experience of high-level auditing that can lead them on to management roles within a short timeframe.

Applicants must be:

  • Part/fully qualified (CIA is ideal, but those with accountancy qualifications will also be considered)
  • Experienced in internal audit and keen to further skills and experience in this area
  • Excellent communicators, with first class written and verbal skills

Applications are now under constant review and interviews will be arranged swiftly – apply now to avoid missing out!
