This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected international organisation working within the international development space. With a collaborative and intellectually curious culture, this role offers the chance to take real ownership whilst working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting project reporting, management accounts production and budget management across a range of donor funded projects. The organisation is looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, can work independently and is keen to grow within a supportive environment.

What you’ll do

  • Produce monthly management accounts and budget reports
  • Support project reporting across multiple donor funded programmes
  • Work closely with budget holders and senior stakeholders to support financial understanding and decision making
  • Ensure expenditure is correctly coded across projects and funding stream
  • Support the Finance Officer and wider finance processes where required

What you’ll need

  • Experience preparing management accounts and budgets
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A proactive and independent approach to work
  • Ideally be fully qualified, although strong part qualified or QBE candidates will also be considered
  • Experience using finance systems such as Sage would be beneficial
  • Charity or donor funded experience would be advantageous but is not essential
