A leading organisation within the UK’s arts and culture sector is looking for a Finance Officer to join its team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their finance career who is looking to build experience within a highly respected and creative environment. Supporting the processing of payments for productions, this role offers exposure to specialist finance operations while also providing broader month-end and transactional finance experience.
What you’ll do
- Support payment runs, ensuring payments are accurate and made on time
- Resolve payment queries and discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain payment schedules, databases and shared inbox management
- Assist with invoice processing, supplier amendments and ledger postings
- Support month-end processes including expense and credit card reconciliations
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
Person Specification
- A genuine interest in the arts and theatre sector is essential
- Strong attention to detail and a highly organised approach
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
- Previous finance or administrative experience would be beneficial
