My client is a leading property developer who are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will be full responsible for driving performance across your own division as the finance subject matter expert. Through the provision of financial advice and analysis, you will support the organisation’s leadership team and enable them to make strategic decisions.   

The key duties of this Finance Business Partner role are as follows:

  • Establish strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across your division to provide advice and drive financial performance, challenging assumptions where appropriate.
  • Support your budget holders in the development of their annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Develop management reporting packs on a monthly basis with supporting commentaries.
  • Take the lead on the production of financial analysis to make recommendations to inform strategic decision making and ensure value for money.
  • Use financial models and KPI reporting to produce accurate projections for the future.
  • Provide training to your budget holders to boost financial understanding.
  • Ensure all month-end procedures are delivered in a timely fashion, including managing journal and reconciliation preparation.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Fully qualified as an Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
  • Ideally worked within the Property, Real Estate or Housing sectors, however, candidates without this are still encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working in a business partnering role of a similar capacity.
  • First-class communication and report writing skills.
  • The confidence to challenge senior stakeholders and drive performance.
