My client is a unique charity based in South London, who are seeking a Social Media Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will lead on management of the national digital media channels and be responsible for growing the audience across multiple channels. The organisation's marketing department has a proven track record of championing their team members individual talents and utilising these to create new roles and responsibilities.

The main responsibilities of the Social Media Executive include:

  • Partnering with Regional Managers to project manage regional digital media campaigns.
  • Design and create content for national media channels.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Department to develop concepts into optimised briefs.
  • Develop the best content for the organisations range of social platforms, demonstrate an innovative approach to gaining traction on emerging platforms and capturing new audiences.
  • Liaise with external corporate agencies on large scale projects, and design assets in-house on all other campaigns.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, developing best practice and guidance to support colleagues with Social Media.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a passionate and motivated Digital Content Editor to join a dynamic team, where you will hit the ground running and have the opportunity to manage your own projects with autonomy. The organisation runs over 100 campaigns annually with a varied focus and content.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Digital Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Journalism etc).
  • Excellent communication, creative and copywriting skills.
  • At least two years' experience managing both paid and organic social media campaigns.
  • Proven proficiency in Adobe CC Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines, and prioritising workloads.
