Rent Services Team Leader

Robertson Bell are once again partnering with this brilliant charity whilst they recruit for a new Rent Services Team Leader. Managing a team of four and reporting into the Head of Rent Services this is a varied role which will be responsible for:

• Providing leadership and management to a small team overseeing effective and accurate collection of rent.
• Ensuring potential income is maximised and procedures and policies are followed at all times.
• Carry out details checks around controls and produce necessary reports on a monthly basis.
• Set achievable targets for the team and closely monitor performance.
• Ensureing account balances are kept up to date and receipts are recorded.
• Developing systems and processes ensuring staff have access to necessary training.
• Closely monitoring all accounts and ensure non-payments are picked up immediately.

This new Rent Services Team Leader is a permanent and full-time position and would be officially based from this organisations head office in central London. The offices are currently closed so this position would be fully remote until spring 2021. The successful candidate will:

• Have management experience.
• Be confident boosting potential income.
• Have extensive experience in reducing rent arrears.
• Be up to date with tenant and landlord law.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate staff and develop and maintain quality relationships with staff and clients.
