Are you an experienced finance leader ready to take ownership of a busy, operational finance function within a mission-driven organisation? This is an opportunity to join a London-based Housing Association at a pivotal time of change, leading the day-to-day delivery of finance while operating as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
You will have full responsibility for the operational running of the finance function, ensuring strong financial control, insightful reporting and effective team leadership.
Lead and manage the finance team, driving accountability and performance.
Own the day-to-day operation of the finance function.
Deliver accurate monthly management accounts with clear insight for the Senior Leadership Team.
Oversee statutory and quarterly financial reporting, audits and regulatory returns.
Maintain strong financial controls, including journals, accruals, prepayments and fixed assets.
Oversee service charge accounting and cashflow effectiveness.
Act as a finance partner to operational leaders, providing meaningful insight to support decision-making.
Drive process improvement, automation and continuous improvement.
Qualified accountant, or part-qualified and actively studying.
Proven experience managing a small team, with confidence to lead and performance-manage.
Strong experience in management accounts, financial reporting, controls and reconciliations.
Technical expertise in accruals, prepayments, journals and fixed assets.
Proactive, accountable, and confident in driving change.
