My client is a South London based residential property developer who are currently seeking a Senior Development Financial Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Director, this role will have critical in in the development and maintenance of the organisation’s long-term strategic plans through financial analysis, modelling and forecasting.

The key duties of this Senior Development Financial Analyst role are as follows:

  • Take the lead in the financial review of investment appraisals, ensuring that all risks have been correctly accounted for and returns will be in line with the long-term financial plan.
  • Deliver training sessions to all relevant stakeholders to boost financial understanding and ensure correct usage of financial models.
  • Full responsibility for the agglomeration of all development financial transactions and producing relevant cashflow reports for the Treasury Department as required.
  • Manage one Junior Analyst, providing any necessary training and giving them opportunities to reach their full potential.
  • Have critical input into the development and maintenance of the long-term financial plan.
  • Ensure that all reporting management information tools are accurately maintained an updated as necessary.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Achieved their full CCAB qualification or be a finalist.
  • Ideally, a background working in the social housing sector. However, candidates without this are still strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with large sets of data in Excel.
  • Ideally, experience using Provale, Podplan, Optimix or equivalent system.
  • Strong understanding of investment appraisals and property development finance.
