Robertson Bell are delighted to be supporting an excellent not-for-profit organisation in their search for a Temporary Finance Officer (Rent & Service Charge) to join their finance team on an initial three-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive finance professional to support a critical function within a supportive, purpose-led organisation, all while working fully remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and update property and resident accounts on the rental ledger system
- Ensure rental income is accurately recorded across both the rent ledger and finance systems
- Reconcile data between systems to maintain consistency and financial integrity
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate resident billing
- Support the team with any additional rent and service charge-related tasks as required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have strong knowledge and understanding of rental income and service charge accounting
- Bring experience working with rental ledger systems (experience with Omni is desirable but not essential)
- Be proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Be available to start at short notice and ready to hit the ground running
