Robertson Bell is pleased to be partnering with this fantastic not for profit organisation who are seeking a Junior Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. This role can be largely remote, based at any one of their regional offices across England. The Junior Finance Business partner will support the business partnering function by providing monthly analysis on the regional financial performance for the organisation.

The main responsibilities of the Junior Finance Business Partner include:

  • Develop strong working relationships with regional budget holders to ensure all monthly financial information is complete and accurate.
  • Extracting and manipulating large data sets to provide detailed analysis on the financial performance of cost centres, identifying and explaining any variances.
  • Provide valuable support to the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with budget holders to gather all information required and ensuring budget holders understand their financial performance and forecasts.
  • Create comprehensive reports on analysis conducted to be shared with Senior Finance Business partners and the wider organisation.

This is a largely remote role, with occasional visits to regional budget holders required!

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least two years' experience working in a finance department, ideally supporting the management accounting function.
  • A flair for problem-solving and providing analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to develop strong working relationships.
  • Advanced Excel skills, able to collate and manipulate large data sets.
