My client is a leading property developer based in south London, but offering fully remote working, looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the team in an excellent role that is vital to the future growth plans of this ambitious organisation.

The main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner are as follows:

  • Liaise closely with senior stakeholders across the development directorate, acting as their financial matter expert and challenging them on their spending when required.
  • Create complex models which can support the assessment of new business.
  • Play a key role in the production of budgets, forecasts and long-term financial plans.
  • Lead on the financial appraisals of a number of new development schemes and acquisitions.
  • Monitor the budgets and actuals of ongoing projects and schemes, flagging any variances and challenging senior development stakeholders on these.

The successful candidate for the Finance Business Partner role will have:

  • Qualified as an accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
  • Experience of business partnering with senior-level non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ideally worked within the property, real estate or housing sectors, however, candidates without this are still encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
