Robertson is pleased to be partnering with this dynamic and leading organisation, based in Worcester, who are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. The Finance Business Partner will successfully lead a team of three direct reports to effectively carry out the month end cycle, budgeting, and forecasting, for an operational division with a budget totalling around £400 million.

The main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner include:

  • Full responsibility for the month-end reporting including full set of management accounts for your operational division, ensuring all reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Lead on the budgeting and forecasting processes and reviews for the division, working closely with designated budget holders to effectively and accurately manage the process and financial targets.
  • Direct line management of three staff members which includes one Management Accountant and two Assistant Management Accountants.
  • Managing all financial queries relating to your operational division.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis on any ad hoc projects as required by the Finance Manager.

This is a brilliant opportunity, for a technically strong candidate, to join this sector leading organisation who will take ownership of the management accounting function for a large operational division. My client offers clear progression opportunities and flexible working, with travel to the Worcester office required no more than three times per week.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally a full CCAB qualification such as CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent (Part-Qualified / Finalists will be considered).
  • Demonstrable technical budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • A proven track record in leading a small team.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
