Robertson Bell are supporting a leading care service provider to recruit Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. Best in North-West London, this role will bolster a high performing finance function during a period of change as my client look to expand their services while also making significant improvements to operational efficiency.

Key duties and responsibilities of this Finance Business Partner role include:

  • Full responsibility for setting up and developing the charity’s business partnering function, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation to support on all financial matters.
  • Producing robust budgets, forecasts, and cash-flows for non-financial budget holders to influence decision making.
  • Provide valuable input into the monthly management accounts, providing supporting variance analysis and commentary for designated business areas as required.
  • Create and develop robust financial models to produce accurate projections for the future and monitor performance of the charity.
  • Take the lead on the roll out of training programmes for budget holders to boost financial understanding.

This role comes at an exciting time for the charity as they are currently at the start of a large scale development project to enhance their social reach and quality of service. It is the perfect opportunity for a driven, proactive accountancy professional who is excited at the prospect of taking full ownership for the establishment and development of the business partnering function and spotting opportunities to take the lead in new areas.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally, recent experience working for a care or support service provider within the commercial, not for profit or public sector.
  • Fully qualified as an accountant.
  • Strong management accounting skills and a first-class ability to provide an excellent business partnering service to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading the budget setting process.
  • Excellent communication skills and an analytical mindset.

Whilst this role will be homebased initially, you will need live to within commutable distance of the organisations North-West London office.
