Based at Chalk Farm in Central London, these roles have been created as a result of increased workload following a period of growth. Reporting to the Head of Management Accounts, each Management Accountant will focus on one of two areas: Housing Services, and Care & Support. For both roles, the key responsibilities are to:
*Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts, prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accruals and prepayments are prepared in a timely manner
*Support the Finance Business Partner by providing them with detailed financial management information to present to budget holders and stakeholders across the Housing Services or Care & Support functions
*Support the Finance Business partner in the preparation of budgets and forecast, liaising directly with budget holders as appropriate
*Understand and extract data from the general ledger and summarise the month end report for the Finance Business Partner to present to the organisation’s budget holders
*Prepare monthly management packs for the board
*Investigate budget vs actual variances and summarise findings for senior management
One Housing are a Housing Association based in Central London with 17,000 homes and a turnover of £250m. *Hold a part qualification in accountancy (CCAB) with the ambition and drive to progress in your career

*Have recent experience of preparing management accounts to set timescales
