Are you an experienced systems professional with deep knowledge of Unit4 (Agresso)? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where your work can drive innovation and improvement? Are you looking for a role that blends business-as-usual activity with exciting upcoming project work? Then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Robertson Bell is delighted to be supporting a respected institution to recruit a Unit4 / Agresso System & Project Manager on a permanent basis. This is a pivotal role that will oversee day-to-day operations while leading on system improvements, supporting a major cloud migration project, and working closely with finance stakeholders to enhance processes.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of financial systems, resolving tickets and ensuring smooth BAU delivery.

  • Lead on identifying system-related issues within the finance team, recommending and implementing improvements and automation opportunities.

  • Act as a key business partner to finance, translating technical system functionality into clear insights for non-technical colleagues.

  • Play a leading role in the upcoming cloud migration project, including planning, testing interfaces, and ensuring seamless integration.

  • Develop strong working relationships with internal IT teams and external providers to support system performance and innovation.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with two days per week on site. The organisation offers a friendly and welcoming environment, with a strong sense of community and a pleasant office with good commuter links.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have deep experience working with Unit4 (Agresso), ideally including migration to the cloud and knowledge of key financial modules.

  • Understand system interfaces, particularly with student records or similar.

  • Bring strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and translate technical language for non-specialists.

  • Be proactive, collaborative, and able to operate independently within a small team environment.

  • Ideally hold project or systems-related qualifications such as Prince2, though this is not essential.

  • Have previous experience working in a complex, service-oriented organisation.

Applications are being reviewed on a rolling basis, so please apply now to be considered.
