International Finance Manager

The International Finance Manager will work with country finance teams across a number of regional offices in Africa, providing financial support and analysis to track performance of multi-million pound projects. Working on capacity building, the International Finance Manager will develop key systems and processes and continuously improve the quality of information received by the London office, used to support decision making. Responsible for putting together reports for donors, this role will be a key partner to senior field operatives and contacts within large institutional donors. Working on budgets to bid for new funding, this role will be involved right from the proposal stage, and offers the chance to get all-round exposure to international development finance.

The successful candidate will either be a qualified or part-qualified (or QBE) accountant and will come either from a similar position in another charity or from practice, looking to move into the international charity sector. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as these will enable the ideal candidate to communicate at all levels both with finance and non-finance staff. The successful candidate will ideally be able to converse in French and will have a passion for the International Development sector.
